Inspired daily by her life on a working farm, Maine artist Katherine Dunn layers colors in a way that creates a foggy, dream-like patina. Of this painting, she says, "The full moon came up. The colors of the garden could be seen, but it was the moon that became the showpiece of the garden. The garden gate is slightly ajar. The bramble on the edge creates its own pattern."
